New York Nurses to Rally May 22 at State Capitol

Posted May 18, 2007

Hundreds of nurses from five unions will rally at the State Capitol on May 22 to urge lawmakers to help them protect their patients by improving nurse staffing and ending the abusive practice of mandatory overtime. For nurses, it’s an issue of patient safety – the risk of medical errors greatly increases when nurses work mandatory overtime.
