Inspired Comfort Award

Cherokee Uniforms invites all New York nurses to nominate their peers and colleagues for the 2006 Cherokee Inspired Comfort Award, and when they do, they will help to benefit nurses in need.

Cherokee Uniforms has pledged to Nurses House $1 per nomination received in the 2006 award. In 2005, Cherokee donated $1,300 to the national charity, headquartered in Albany, as a result of nominations received for the Cherokee Inspired Comfort Award.

Professionals can be nominated in five categories: RNs, APNs, LPNs/ LVNs, Nursing Students, and other healthcare professionals (to honor PTs, RTs, aides, etc.).

The grand prize winner in each category will receive an all-expense-paid Caribbean cruise for two. Additional winners in each category will receive all-expense-paid trips to a 2007 U.S. medical conference of the winners’ choice, a $500 donation in their name to the charity of their choice, and annual memberships to their preferred clinical association.

All award winners will receive trophies, a medical wardrobe of Cherokee scrubs and Rockers footwear worth more than $1,000, and a profile in the nationally distributed Cherokee Inspired Comfort Award 2007 calendar. Additionally, those who nominate the grand prize winner in each category will each receive a Cherokee medical wardrobe and a donation of $500 to the nonprofit organization of their choice. Winners are chosen by a panel of judges and will be announced in September 2006.
