Mount Sinai Hospital Of Queens
Patient-centered care is the driving force behind The Mount Sinai Hospital of Queens, a 235-bed community hospital that was purchased by The Mount Sinai Hospital in June of 1999. Since then, we have been working diligently to bring top-quality medical care, programs and services to the residents of western Queens and beyond.
Our hospital offers a team of nearly 400 physicians representing 36 medical and surgical specialties and subspecialties. Between our physicians and staff, we speak 24 languages, just one of the many ways that The Mount Sinai Hospital of Queens serves the needs of our culturally diverse population.
The Mount Sinai Hospital of Queens is the first community-based hospital to bear the prestigious Mount Sinai name. There are many real benefits to being part of Mount Sinai NYU Health. For instance:
- Patients now have seamless access to world-class medical expertise. Between The Mount Sinai Hospital of Queens and our Manhattan campus, you can count on continuity of care and are automatically part of the best modern medicine has to offer.
- Behind the scenes, our nursing and support staffs are taking advantage of the expertise and "best practices" of The Mount Sinai Hospital.
- The Emergency Department is staffed by physicians trained in the specialty of emergency medicine. Patients in the Emergency Room are registered and treated using a system developed at The Mount Sinai School of Medicine.
- All anesthesia care is provided by Mount Sinai faculty.
- Our healthcare professionals are learning from a broad variety of educational and research opportunities available through our new association, keeping all of us here at The Mount Sinai Hospital of Queens on the cutting edge of medicine.
The high quality of care and our unique relationship with one of the world's leading medical institutions, are the reasons why many patients choose to be treated here . . . we offer the comfort of community and the confidence of Mount Sinai.
