The Nursing Department prepares students for entry into the profession of Nursing. Upon graduation, students receive the Associate of Science Degree in Nursing and are eligible to take the New York State licensing Examination for Registered Nurses.
The curriculum offers a balance of courses in liberal arts and nursing. The curriculum provides the theoretical knowledge and clinical practice needed to administer care for individuals throughout the life cycle. All students are assisted in the development of their potential with guidance offered by faculty who possess broad nursing experience and academic preparation in the field.
The Nursing Curriculum is accredited by the National League for Nursing. (NLNAC).
