Dorothea Hopfer School of Nursing
Hopfer School of Nursing has been in the forefront of nursing education for over 100 years. The school is a private, Mount Vernon hospital-based, registered nursing program that offers a two year Associates Degree (ADN). For those individuals wishing to continue on a career path, articulation options to BSN have been established with College of New Rochelle, Dominican College, Mercy College and Pace University. Hopfer graduates are eligible to sit for the National Council Licensure Examination for registered nurses.
